Product 45 book: musician profile feature writing and memoir/music review style personal contribution

Client brief: In 2015, I was invited by the publisher of Product 45: Australian Punk/Post-Punk Record Covers to write a memoir/music review style contribution to the book. To say I was chuffed is an understatement! The client also wanted my assistance in turning interview transcripts into engaging magazine-style profiles on well-known Australian musicians.

Throughout the project, the client gave some wonderful feedback:

“I can’t get over how good this is, how well it reads – better than I expected, thank you so much, it has become such an enjoyable read. I was originally planning to do this, but what you’ve produced is way better than what I could have imagined. If you want something done professionally, get it done by a professional. In 2018, the client engaged me again, to proofread his second book, Snaps, Crack, Pop! on Australian rock music poster artist/Red Eye Records label founder, John Foy.
